We are pleased to announce the presentation of 79 teacher grants this year totalling over $32,000. This a record since we started giving grants back in 2003. In our first year, we were only able to give away about $3,500.
Since the grant program started, we have now awarded more than $110,000 and, in the process, improved the educational experience for literally thousands of students.
Our thanks to all of you who help to make this grant program possible. And don't forget our 2010 fundraisers: The Fireworks Stand at Los Coyotes Diagonal and Carson Street, July 1-4, and our third annual golf tournament on October 11th (Columbus Day).
